“Corner of Hope” is a Montessori-inspired corner designed as a life-experience environment for preschool-aged children and their parents/caregivers. Through carefully designed teaching materials and lesson plans, parents can witness their children’s growth and learning process.

These interactions help establish stable, secure, and beneficial parent-child relationships, and can reduce toxic stress caused by a lack of care. Studies also show that children who engage in play tend to perform better in language and math skills. Additionally, play helps to foster children’s physical development, including the growth of fine and gross motor skills. These early education and development opportunities have a profound impact on a child’s overall growth. Therefore, establishing public welfare family spaces not only has a positive impact on families and society, but through the involvement of churches, families can also receive God’s blessings and prayer support.

Promoting Parent-Child Interaction: Family spaces provide a specially designed environment where parents and children can engage in activities together, strengthening emotional bonds between them. This interaction is crucial for the emotional development of the child and the consolidation of family relationships.
Providing Early Education: Family spaces offer early education opportunities for children. Through carefully designed teaching materials and lesson plans, children can learn through play, enhancing their cognitive abilities, social skills, and motor development.
Supporting Parenting: Family spaces can provide parents with training in parenting knowledge and skills, helping them cope with various challenges in raising their children. At the same time, parents can exchange experiences and support each other in these spaces.
Fostering Community Connections: Family spaces provide a platform for families to interact, promoting connections between families within the community and enhancing community cohesion and mutual support.
Future Outlook
Currently, COH’s partner locations are primarily concentrated in northern Taiwan. In the future, we hope to expand to central and southern regions, and even remote areas, to serve more communities in need.

Goals
To allow more families to experience a high-quality learning environment with less financial burden, Corner of Hope needs to rally more like-minded partners to participate and gain the support of various sectors in society. This will ensure that such family spaces can continue to develop throughout Taiwan, providing more practical help for families willing to have and raise children in this generation!
Short-Term Goal: Each year, sponsor 4 churches that share the same vision and actively cooperate, establishing public welfare family spaces with long-term partnerships.
Long-Term Goal: By 2027, establish a family space in every county and city across Taiwan. Through these spaces, promote collaboration and resource sharing among churches, and cultivate a group of COH instructors with autonomous teaching abilities, enabling them to continue developing and expanding their impact.
